Hecke Algebra Solutions to the Reflection Equation

We construct solutions to Sklyanin's reeection equation in the case in which the bulk Yang-Baxter solution is of Hecke algebra type. Each solution constitutes an extension of the Hecke algebra together with a spectral parameter dependent boundary operator, K(). We solve for the deening relations of the extension, and for the spectral parameter dependence of the boundary operator. Finding concre...

Quantum Sphere via Reflection Equation Algebra

Quantum sphere is introduced as a quotient of the so-called Reflection Equation Algebra. This enables us to construct some line bundles on it by means of the Cayley-Hamilton identity whose a quantum version was discovered in [PS], [GPS]. A new way to introduce some elements of ”braided geometry” on the quantum sphere is discussed. AMS classification: 17B37; 81R50

Diagonal and Monomial Solutions of the Matrix Equation AXB=C

In this article, we consider the matrix equation $AXB=C$, where A, B, C are given matrices and give new necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the diagonal solutions and monomial solutions to this equation. We also present a general form of such solutions. Moreover, we consider the least squares problem $min_X |C-AXB |_F$ where $X$ is a diagonal or monomial matrix. The explici...

Non - diagonal solutions of the reflection equation for the trigonometric A ( 1 ) n − 1 vertex model

We obtain a class of non-diagonal solutions of the reflection equation for the trigonometric A (1) n−1 vertex model. The solutions can be expressed in terms of intertwinner matrix and its inverse, which intertwine two trigonometric R-matrices. In addition to a discrete (positive integer) parameter l, 1 ≤ l ≤ n, the solution contains n + 2 continuous boundary parameters. PACS: 03.65.Fd; 05.30.-d
